About Us

Savant Infocomm was formed in August 2000 in order to strategically re-align our business focus in the areas of IT and education.

Board Of Directors

Mr. Gopinath Pillai is the Executive Chairman of Savant Infocomm.

Gopinath has varied interests in companies incorporated in Singapore, India, Mauritius and the U.K. He is the Chairman of Gateway DistriParks Limited, incorporated in India. He is also the Chairman of Windmill International Pte. Ltd and Director of KSP Investments Pte. Ltd. and several other companies.


He is currently Singapore's Non-Resident Ambassador to Iran.
Mr. Gopinath Pillai is also a Trustee of NTUC Fairprice Co-operative Ltd. having been its founding Chairman between 1983-1993. He is also the past president of the National University of Singapore Society.

He is currently the Chairman of the Institute of South Asian Studies(ISAS) and IT Services Cooperative Ltd. He is the deputy Chairman of Ang Mo Kio Community Hospital

Mr. David Ho is the Director of Savant Infocomm.

David is one of Singapore's leading entrepreneurs. In his 30-year career he has been involved in various international businesses all over the world, including the former USSR, Eastern Europe, Africa, India, China and Asia, and recently Iraq.


David started his career with Citibank Singapore in 1972 and later joined Intraco, a public listed international trading company based in Singapore as a senior executive. He left in 1978 to start his own company, Windmill International Pte Ltd, an industrial bulk commodities trading and logistics trading company. Windmill was ranked 6th at the 1995 Enterprise 50 Awards.

Currently David is the CEO of AEC Edu Group Pte Ltd Singapore, and holds directorships in various private companies in Singapore and aboard.


David graduated from the University of Singapore in 1972 with Hons in Economics. He is married with 4 children and an active member of the National University of Singapore Society. He is awarded as an Outstanding Alumnus from the Class of 72 by NUS.

Mr. Haider Sithawalla is an Executive Director of Savant Infocomm.

Haider started his career as a civil servant and rose to the position ofa Deputy Secretary, when he resigned to join the private sector. He joined ACMA as a General Manager and later became its Managing Director. He is currently a Director in a number of publicly listed and private Companies. He is also a trustee of NTUC FairPrice Co-operative Limited.

Haider is the Singapore High Commissioner (Non-Resident) to Mauritius and Zimbabwe. He was formerly also the Singapore High Commisioner to Tanzania.

Mr. Satpal Khattar is Director of Savant Infocomm.
Satpal is the Chairman of First Capital Group of Industries and Director to Haw Par, and Parameswara Group of Industries. He was a Senior Partner with Khattar Wong and Partners, a renowned law firm in the region.

His other appointments include Director to Singapore Labour Foundation and NTUC Income, Chairman to Raffles Institute Board of Governors and the Governor of Tower Club. Besides being a Director in several companies in Hong Kong, Bermuda, Malaysia and India, he is an Advisor to the Singapore Institute of Management, and Life Trustee with SINDA (Singapore Indian Development Association).

He is also the Chairman of Network India, and association formed to foster business and economic co-operation between Singapore and India
